...what one would think it to be. Yes, the keyboard works fine, but it's not what I wanted. I wanted to get a Gamecube keyboard that was JUST for the Gamecube, not a generic keyboard with a Gamecube adaptor. I supposed that I can use the adaptor for something else (maybe), but I must say that it was not worth waiting 2 weeks for this to come from England (I bought the UK version because I wanted that MaxPLAY disc).

Anyone else have any comments about the Powerboard? Does it work all right after rigorous use?

In a word.... no. Mine barely worked straight out of the box. I ended up dumping the powerboard, keeping the adapter, and getting a cheap keyboard at a thrift. I paid $1 for the replacement keyboard, and it works--unlike the POS-board. I'd recommend doing the same. Those powerboards are SUPER cheap.

I never had a problem with it. What you find a disappointment I found a nice little extra, because as Dobie mentions above, you can now connect your FAVORITE keyboard to your Gamecube (same deal with the PS2 adapter/keyboard). I'm very happy with it.

I have never had a problem with mine. But I was so addicted to playing Phantasy Star Online for the GCN that I bought an ASC II controller/keyboard. :D :D :D

I was lucky enough to buy it from a friend who bearly used it and got it cheap enough. ;)

So my powerboard has not been used for a long time.
