There are two auctions for the Donkey Kong Competition and one of them is just a direct copy of the other:

he's actually saying he isn't selling the COmpetition version, and he added the text "not actual game" to the pic LOL

I'm always leary about auctions that both demand PayPal and use poor English. Something just clicks. They're probably both legit.
EDIT: The 2nd one now has "not actual game" on the lower left hand corner of the picture and added "I am selling the donkey kong country game for snes." in the middle of the text.

As for the first one X_x The thing is upto 250.00 and the reserve hasnt been met yet @_@ I mean I know they normally go for 275 + , but come on. :roll:

Damn! That is quite insane. I always thought the label just said donkey kong country like any other....I guess I'll have to look for that label ;D. Is starfox like that or does it say STARFOX on the top?

He even copied the line "Winners got to go to Gamepro to compete in a final competion (I have the issue with the winners, I will list them when I go home)" that was the dead giveaway.
And by the way, the Starfox Super Weekend and Donkey Kong Competition games have "not for resale " or something like that on the top.

Are you positive about the Starfox cart having that on top ?
Seriously..... I am going to have to look at that when I get home :o
Because I am sure it looks exactly the same as the normal starfox cart from the top. But if I am wrong , good call ;)

it says "starfox" on top, but its in green text instead of the starfox logo that is on regular starfox carts.

The front of the Star Fox cart has a completely different picture than the regular cart. It says Starfox Super Weekend edition on the front face of the cartridge. The words are shaped in a circle an there is an Arwing flying around it.

Text is actually a blue green. Not teal ........
And yes the pic on the front of the cart is totally different.
It does say "Not for resale" in the right corner of the cart as well.
And it says the title like this :
Super
Starfox
Weekend
And the x of the Starfox curls down under the "starfox" like a fox tail.

i think there are still lots of stores that havent thrown them away yet.
maybe 200 if the green box was included + the letter from nintendo, but 250 for the cart alone?

I think there were only around 1000 copies of this game.
250 is about right IMO.
