Since your from NYC and im moving there in January to go to college again do you know of any retro video game stores in the east village area? I only know of Multimedia 1.0 on St. Marks Place...If you know of any could you give me a homepage or maybe an address so I could get directions to go there... Please

Kinokuniya?
It's a very pleasent store. Also has Manga, Japanese sound tracks, planners, and some US stuff too. I think NCS also has them, I believe they are located out of Brooklyn but I don't know if they actually have a store.

Yeah, Kinokuniya is the place that I went to. It just dawned on me that they might have it and they did! Of course the issue that I want is not out yet, but Hey, it's a start.
Other than Multimedia 1.0, I dont know of any good game stores in the city that are worthing checking out besides the myriad EB and Gamestops all over the place...You'd think that NYC would have more, but the power of getting stuff off the net has kinda burt import store businesses. Multimedia 1.0 is awesome though, i try to go there at least once every few weeks, they dont have an excellent selection of NEW imports, but they have good recent domestic stuff and good hard to find old stuff. It's more of a museum than anything else, but I always buy something out of courtesy at least.

The Kinokuniya closest to me has some Dengeki stuff but I couldn't find any Arcadia magazines. I still picked up $100 worth of video game manga there the last time I went to it doesn't matter if they don't have one magazine.

I found it funny that the katakana above the video game magazine's section said "famicom".
