You poor, poor thing.

Actually, if it wasn't so damn blurry, some of these games would actually be playable...I'm waiting for an emulator to see if I am right about this...

I also just bought a game.com. It had to buy a system with all the games just to get Wheel of Fortune 2. I have been looking for that game to complete my game.com collection for many many months.

So I have not completed my first system. Not much of a system but its a start. LOL

You know what's great.. out of all my friends back in the day when it first came out, I wanted to nab that thing first, they bought it first.. :-) saved me a clean 50$ plus the cost of games... yikes!

That thing was such a tease, duke nukem looked so damn cool, the game is literally the same 10 frames through out the whole first level (nope, I never tried to beat a level, game is awful)

batman and robin, : only other game Iv tried.. god don't even get me started..

I bought mine for $80. :( Once I'd placed the bid on ebay, I found the Nomad and wished and hoped and prayed that I would lose the auction so I could bud on the Nomad instead. Sadly, I won the auction and had to wait...

a whole paycheck to buy the Nomad. So, no major crisis - but wow - what a waste of money.:(

The only system I've literally thrown in the trash.

yeah,it is pretty much a electronic pile of crap.i have one,i bought it brand new at kay-bee for 6 dollars.i got 3 games for it,sonic jam, resident evil2,and lights out.they all suck.i guess lights out is the best of the 3,and that aint saying much.

Hey, take it easy fellas! I like my game.com! Well, I can easily see why it died out so quickly and all, but its not all bad. FIghter's Megamix, for instance. A bit blurry, but not half bad for a system with such a bad rep. I've beaten levels in Duke Nukem 3d, and I found it fun. Sure, Sonic Jam sucked terribly (can we have some background music? Sound effects? SOMETHING?!!?) but I like most of my other games.

I was wondering how the Resident Evil game was. I figred it sucked, but its still kinda weird.

It's OK for puzzle & game shows. Henry, Jeopardy, Lights out, monopoly, scrabble, casino, and wheel of fortune (plus the built-in solitaire) are all playable if you like that type of game. It's the system I take on airplanes with me since I don't much care if it gets lost, stolen, confiscated by security, etc.

But yes, it truly sucks for any game where things actually move.

RE2 was surprisingly good on game.com, but it was pretty short... it ends after you get out of the police station.

Any of the side-scrolling or fighting games suck because of the screen blur, but the board/card games are fun for short trips.

Overall I found the game.com a very fun system!

The games can be fun, GREAT fun actually, if you stick with more of a "board game" or "classic" style game. The side scrolling/fighting games are horrid due to the blurry screen. Here's a list of games that you can actually enjoy!

Centipede
Frogger
Henry
Jeopardy
Lights Out!
Monopoly
Quiz Wiz
Scrabble
Tiger Casino
Wheel Of Fortune
Wheel Of Fortune 2
Williams Arcade Classics

These are all highly playable and highly enjoyable games! I love to crack it out sometimes for a Scrabble session or a gamble at the Tiger Casino. I suggest giving a little more time with some of these games....it will grow on you!
