what the heck is this thing? O_O

It's a 3.5" disc drive, I thiink, but what is it for?

A memory device,, a hacking/cheat system? Playing pirated games?

What?

And, how do I test it? Can I just stick a floppy disc in and see if it "whirs"?

okay, well, I found out what it is, but I have no discs for it, so I can't test it.

If you wanna get rid of it, maybe I could take it off your hands?

Oh yeah, and that's famicom, not super famicom that goes to, but you probably figured that put by now.

just got hold of some Super Famicoms and Famicoms.

Can anyone provide info on how to get them to work in the U.K?

power settings, t.v setings etc

I do have some "super nes converters", which are suppoed to have build in 50 /60hz switch - and provide NTSC in PAL output. But I am still fumbling around in the dark.

sorry, in my haste to bump an old thread, rather than start a new one, I neglected to read the previous repliies properly. :embarrassed:

altough I'm still not quite sure how I go about setting up a Famiclone to work in the U.K I have a power adaptor, but it's the wrong sort of plug for the U.K too. I also have a boxed "Eastern Computer" which is a Famicom clone, that too, has a weirdo two pin plug thingymajig. @_@
