How many people HAVE 3 other friends with GBA/Link cables?
This concept just totally blows my mind. even for 7-12 year olds, who the hell has 3 other friends who ALL have GBA's, link cables, and the same game. AND can all meet at one persons house regularly to play a game? Is Nintendo REALLY doing well with these goddamn Zelda/FF Crystal games? Or are they just pretending to so they don't look stupid?

And do you guys regularly (or ever) get together and play a 4 player game? Ever finished one of them with all four people?

we played FF:CC a lot but we got bored of it...and we are playin 4 swords adventures..half way done, and we love it so we will finish it...the biggest prob is that after a few minutes i get so annoyed with 2 of them dickin around constanty, i literally explode and want to kill them.....very very annoying...but in the end i guess the experience is worth it...the most important thing is tha you gotta have a rule that the group always plays together...no playing without sumone or replacing them

It's a "yes" for me... but that's really because almost all of my friends have a GameCube and a GBA and our get-togethers are usually 10 or more people, so it's pretty easy.
Four Swords and Pac-Man VS are the favorites here.

Nope. The only time I've ever even run into somebody IN TOWN carrying around a GBA, it turned out he lived in California.
Oh, and he ended up being Seth from 8-Bit Weapon, which was neat.

Well, it is not necessary to have games in all the gameboys. If they are linked to the Gamecube, none need games. If they are only linked to each other (using the OTHER cord), you only usually need 4 games.
I have actually found 2 friends with the required equipment (well actually I bought an extra cable). No luck with 3 though.

I have friends but none of them are even intrested in video games. But I do own a GBA and a link cable. Never ever used the link cable. Dont even know why I bought it. LOL Tried 4 swords and its kind of boring playing by yourself. :(

I have 1 friend who has a GCN and GBA with a link cable... but, otherwise, I know 2 people with just a GCN and one with just a GBA. Xboxes, sadly, are more popular for kids my age.

Surprisingly, I don't eat live fish, and I squarely miss all the other choices.
See, I have a link cable, but no Game Boy Advance(d! har), just a Game Boy Player.
Go figure.

I have 3 GBAs and link cables, but no friends to play em with :D
Sadly, my rabbits like to eat cords, so no 4 Swords/CC unless they were wireless. Bah@ wires.

I've played quite a bit of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and Four Swords with 3 other people. Four Swords is definitely the better game, though I still think FF:CC is a decent game in its own right. We should have had FF:CC beaten long ago, but our fourth person seems to have disappeared off of the face of the earth - haven't seen or talked to him in almost two months for no apparent reason. We're almost at the end, but can't get a hold of this idiot. Luckily, another friend of ours who is much more reliable is playing Four Swords with us. The minigames are brutally fun and so is the main quest, although there are too many puzzles and not enough action for a 4-player game IMO. Shadow Battles are cool too, you finally get the chance to kick the shit out of each other and spring traps to see who the toughest is. I think we have two more levels of Four Swords to complete before we beat the game, so we're almost there.
Pac Man Vs. is another great 4 player game, but you only need one GBA/cable for that.
4-player gaming is always a blast, with or without GBA's and link cables, although at least with what we play, Nintendo is the only game in town. NES, N64, and Gamecube are the only machines we ever play 4-player games on.

I've got 6 GBA->GC cables here at home (don't ask, but it comes between buying a couple and getting the rest free with other games I've bought!) so all people have to worry about is bringing their GBAs for Zelda.

I have two cables, and my cousins have a cable. However, I rarely get the chance to play Zelda:FS with them. I'm more likely to play the GB cable-less mutliplayer games with my buds like Mario Kart.

Me and my friends have gotten together on multiple occasions for a good time of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Good times indeed. The game makes time go by so quickly. I'd look at my watch, then gander at it again moments later, to discover hours have gone by. Egad!
He also picked up Four Swords Adventures, but, we never really got into that.
