Couldn't find if there was ever posted on before and if so sorry....
On the box art of Star Voyager for the 2600. The ship with the lasers firing from the bottom of it....
Doesn't the bottom of that ship look A LOT like the top of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars?

I've never seen the box for this game before but I would have noticed it right away. Mainly becuase we're talking about my favorite ship from my favorite movie series.
I have the box sitting on my shelf facing me but I have not noticed this. Good eyes man.

If I'm not mistaken, there's another piece of Imagic art where you can see the bottom half of the aforementioned perfectly good Kenner Millennium Falcon that was apparently butchered by the art department.
I only point this out because I used to have a perfectly good Millennium Falcon of my own, perfectly intact since '78, that was stolen four years ago, and I'm most bitter about it. And here these loons went, cutting one in half! The nerve! :angry:

Just keep in mind that Star Voyager predates Star Trek III by at least two years. ;) Makes ya wonder, eh?

Now that I've looked at it the front part it looks just like the original Battlestar Galactica expect with a BIG extension on the back and small extension on the front. Especially the sides of it which have those hanger bays. I just now caught that.
Not very imagitive were they? x_x

Probably more of a case of "Hey, our budget for this cover/manual art is $40, which is how much it'll cost to buy a couple of existing model kits, slap 'em together in weird ways and spray paint 'em glossy and silvery. LET'S DO IT!" :D
