Yet another topic about hardware and accessory variations from me. :P Anyway, what's up with the different N64 plugs? I was just messing around, comparing two, and all of the sudden I notice that they have differences. One has a white stripe down the cord, while the other doesn't, and if you look closely at the plug itself, you'll notice that it's designed differently (and the striped one says "Made in Thailand"). Now, if I remember correctly, I think my original N64 I got on its release date came with the white striped cord, so what's the point of the change later on?

And while I'm on the subject, why are there different Nintendo RFs? That was another difference I caught today that I never noticed before. The part that goes into the console has a prong that is solid in one RF and split into four quarters on a different type. There are also other slight differences in that part of the RF.

So yeah... I'm basically being WAY too observant lately, but I'm a curious little monkey, so give me whatever info you guys got. :P

On the power cords, I'm sure it's simply reflects a change in suppliers or production runs. I doubt seriously a company would go through the trouble of adding or removing a white stripe on a cord on purpose.
