Yes, it is. I remember ubersaurus had two, but he traded one, and kept the other for... strangeness I would suppose. Them crazy japanese!

Trance vibrator, from what I understand, was MEANT to be put under the pillow that the player is sitting on. What it tends to be used for, I think you can put 2 and 2 together.

From what I heard, it works with Rez, Disaster Report, and Space Channel 5 part 2. I know it works with the US Rez, and I've heard it works with the US versions of the other two, but I've never tried it.

Oh wow, I've been under the impression it didn't work with US Rez.

May have to order one of these puppies off of eBay.

Damm, I paid $65 a few months ago for a sealed copy, actually I was glad to pay $65 for it and played it, it was well worth that money, why did Sega wait that long to make a second run.

I could swear I read somewhere recently that Sega will also be producing a follow-up to Rez. Anyone else see this? On the subject of vibrating accessories, the initial Japanese run of Rez also included a pair of force-feedback headphones, that blew the Trance Vibrator out of the water in terms of immersion in the game. On the unlikely chance you ever happen upon these, pay whatever price you can to pick them up.

LOL LOL LOL

Vincewy- I am sure the cover art will change or something noticable. Although the price might go down a little bit the collecitbility will stay the same.

I picked up the trance vibrator a few months ago from play-asia.com for something like 30 bucks. I bought the game new the day that it came out as well. Though the Dreamcast version, IMO, is better as far as visuals go, I put that one into storage in lieu of of the PS2 version that has the trance vibrator...

The trance vibrator is awesome. I'm your regular male gamer, and though I have not been able to get my girlfriend into the mix on this one (I'm not saying that I even tried that either) I do put the thing under the seat cushon of my big leather gaming chair, and it's AWESOME.

I wish I could find a pair of those official REZ headphones...

Yeah....trance vibrator works great with a US system. And they only made 200 limited edition packs with the vibrating headphones....rare as all hells, and super spendy. You'll never find one.

If I remember correctly, the japanese version of Rez also came with eyedrops.

Oh, and I forgot to add that my Japanese Trance Vibrator came with a protective cloth pouch to put it in 'while in use' as well as a pack of minty-ish scented tissue-wipes.

How messed up/cool is that!?

That makes me even more depressed that I didn't pick up the special edition when I saw it in Kobe several years back ... :bawling:

For those of you still looking to pick this up, the CheapAssGamer forums found THIS (http://www.otaku.com/cgi-bin/itemview.asp?itemid=63437c&referer=froogle) deal, $14.85 + shipping. Someone on those boards says it's a reliable outfit, so enjoy.

Edit: Yikes, $10 shipping! But hey, what're you gonna do, pick it up at Wal-Mart instead?
