Home alone 2 factory sealed..questions

I have a contact that has a ton of home alone 2's for nes (8-bit) that are sealed I can pick up really cheap, there's no horizontal line though. I can tell they are mint complete but I still believe they are re-sealed. I have been told that some of the later games didn't have a horizontal seal, I have known this to be true for some tengen games and many unlicensed games..but home alone 2? Does anyone have a factory sealed copy of this game with a horizontal line. IF they are indeed factory sealed I'll probably snag em all and offer em really cheap here.. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I've had a Batman: Return Of The Joker factory Sealed without Seal. I believe, don't hold me to this, that Home Alone 2 and Batman: RotJ were made by the same company?

I'd say if he has a bunch, odd's of it being a reseal are very slight, so I say pick em up, and give me a shot at one. :)

Starting to regret not buying em earlier, can't say he still has em for sure, if I DO get em' though there should be enough to satisfy most interested parties so hold the pm's on the home alone 2 games until I have em in' stock, thanks for the info guys, ..keep the comments coming, really wanna get this verified

True story: sometime around 2000 or so. I happened upon a complete copy of Home Alone 2 for $5 at a Gamestop or something. I paid, went outside, opened my trunk, and tossed it in. Then something funny happened.

I couldn't look away from the...the THING I'd just purchased. I probably stood staring into my car's trunk for a solid minute or so, making eye-to-eye contact with Macaulay Culkin.

"I'm never going to play this," I said to myself. "It's going to sit on a shelf, or in a box, for no reason at all. It holds no sentimental value for me, it's a terrible game, and there's no way I can profit from this. I just bought a five dollar waste of space."

I have had stuff like that happen all the time, it's like why the fuck did I just pay my last $20 for the week for that? I mean I don't always have tons of money to spend. That's why now I make sure I only buy things I ABSOLUTELY need or want. (Which is just about everything still though, but there is some stuff excluded)

I don't have one, but I have a friend that does so I can find out. However, just the fact that it's made by THQ leads me to believe it should have the seam. I'm not aware of any THQ games that don't have the seam. Of the licensed games, most all of the ones that don't have a horizontal seal are made by LJN or Acclaim. And even those had a "vertical overlap" seam.

I reckon that the reason that some Acclaim games don't have the seam is because they were manufactured by Acclaim themselves...as opposed to Nintendo.

If he's got a bunch, still, the odds of it being a reseal are really slim. I say check em out, if there all mint, pick em up if there cheap enough! Heck, I know you can sell em at 5.00 each on here even if there complete and opened.

Their all mint complete, I opened one, they are brand new. Sometimes games get resealed because the inventory shifts stores, rather than sticking new stickers over old stickers, some stores decide to reseal, anyhow Id like to know the demand for brand new CIB, but possibly resealed nes games, Unless I get about 20 responces that people are interested at 5 bux plus 2.00 shipping, I probably won't pick em' up, just doesn't seem worth the time otherwise, anyhow, thanks for all the info guys.
