When I worked at Best Buy it was not uncommon for releases to show up days before their release date. I don't think the DVD's are fake, but the story doesn't smell right. My guess is this guy works in retail or somewhere down the chain and made up that shipping story to cover his ass.

It could happen when I had preordered the book of the dead Evil Dead dvd, deepdiscountdvd shipped mine about a month before the actual release date.

I work at a reciently merged supermarket chain in the UK, we recieved last monday 20 sealed boxes, wondering what this could be (Massive red lettering stating: DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 20TH) I opened one box to check what is was and to satisy my curioisty, it confronted me, STAR WARS SHIPPERS AND DVD'S

So it is very possible to have them now, i've seen them, I'VE HELD THEM, mmmmmm, unfortunatly my boss was very adament that I couldn't take one home and buy it when its released, they're all sealed up again waiting.....
