I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but why does the CPU cause more damage then you with simple roundhouses, throws, supers, and punches? Is the Character AI making you cuss more then George Carlin?

I was comparing this verison during this week to SF Collection Vol. 2 (PSX) and to Super SF 2 (Genesis)...and after finally coming to the conclusion, I think Capcom wanted to give it's fans a new feel to the classic series..but to the point I literally have to bite my controller in frustration almost is beyond that of..oh say, "Contra" frustration in difficulty

Oh btw for SF3 fans, I found "Q" in the background finally on SF Collection Vol. 2 on Ken's stage...I remember hearing rumors about it, but it's real...I wonder why this wasn't on SF Anniversary Collection...

Also the music remix on SF Collection Vol. 2 not only effects the music, but also the sound effects (I.E. Dhalsim's Elephants sound very real now with the remix)..I still wonder why this wasn't in Hyper SF2 :(

Then again, SF Collection Vol. 2 is nothing more then a port of Capcom Generations Vol. 5

I do feel Capcom went a bit overboard with Hyper SF2...Especially the code for Akuma and if I can't get passed Dee Jay I must seriously suck...but I have no problems with 3rd Strike lol What gives?

Sorry if there was a thread about this already, but if someone could kindly post the link, I'd appericate it.

Go play the rom of SSF2x or the original arcade board if you have it. The same thing happens. It's just how the AI is, they didn't change it for this game.

2 seconds too late to quote you butta...

After awhile though, i'll admit the CPU is getting to be good practice :)

I remember reading that from another thread you posted about...but I mean I just don't remember Super SF2 Turbo being this way...unless it's just SF Collection Vol. 1 on Saturn/PSX that tweaked SSF2T...same goes for the 3D0 verison

Yet I give kudos to Capcom for making it feel just right

I have no idea about the ports and stuff, I have SSF2x on cps2, and it's the same way, throwsdo massive damage, cpu has great priority, etc. You just gotta learn the patterns and adjust. It's tough.

There's some ridiculous crap in the game, with how strong CE Bison and the WW characters are, but all in all it's worth it just to have ST with the Hyper Fighting characters in it.

It'll be interesting to see how "new school" players adjust to a game where they have to actually know their shit to survive.

I played the cps2 version of super turbo. The AI is insane.

I read about the AI in The anniversary SF game at Gamespot. I didnt bother to pick it up because I have too many SF games as it is. 3 for Snes, 2 for the PS.
