Gundam: The Battle Master question

I've had this game for about seven years, but have always wondered if my copy was messed up. If you remain on the title screen and let it fade out, the screen simply turns black and nothing happens. It also abruptly stops after it shows the dialogue screen with the final boss smiling at the end of the game. I'm assuming it's just my game, but I'd like to finally know for sure after all this time...

since I'm waiting for my LE copy from Japan will find out whether it's only your copy or this is some kind of bug...

hmm..
not sure what's wrong with your copy but mine simply goes on and on w/ demo . Not sure what you mean about the boss battle coz I didn't notice anything unusual with my copy???

I'm runing it on my Blue DebugStation if that makes any difference...

Are there actual endings? Mine just shows the victory screen with the final boss woman standing there, and abruptly stops at the end of her text. Still, it seems like mine is defective, grrr...

think that's typical ending(?)...
I will have to play my copy again to confirm...

When I say abruptly stops, I mean it won't even let me go back to the title screen. The only thing you can do is turn the power off.
