I don't know anything about a TurboGrafix,,, but i do know about TurboGrafx 16 .

"Fighting Street" Is the game you are looking for made by Capcom.
Try EBAY or the ForSale Trade forum ..
Thats what i would do if i wanted that game or any other for that matter.

Ok, what is your problem? The guy asked for places to find Turbo CD games. I responded, which is a lot more help than anything you have provided.

NEVER recommend BuyRite games. They're complete scammers. Sure they LIST what he wants, but they're screw him 6 ways to Sunday and he'll never get the units from him. NEVER recommend Buyrite on this forum. It's universally agreed that they're rip-off artists and not a reputable store.

As for finding a TG16 CD-ROM setup, well, they show up here in the Buying and Selling forums every few months too. Heck, I had a spare Fighting Street a few months back as well....out right now though.

He may have wanted ROMS to play on a PC, not a system. That's what I got from his post, anyway. Go Googling. Might be some big files, though.

Buyrite sucks!

Buyrite has been under investigation for fraud for a long time. I was lucky enough to get a refund when I ordered something they didn't have. Most people aren't.

For imports and classic games I recommend

www.videogamedepot.com
www.ncsx.com
www.play-asia.com
www.liksang.com

and of course whomeveryou find to be reputable on ebay.

Buyer beware.

Thanks for the info. Although I was referred to that site by another person, I had never bought anything from them myself, nor have I ever seen any posts here regarding them and fraud.

As for junglehunter and GaijinPunch, you guys obviously assumed that I knew what maxlords stated. Remember never assume anything, you only end up making an "ass" out of "u" and "me." Next time just explain your reasoning against the recommendation like maxlords did, rather than trying to rip on someone's post.

Telegames aren't much better, mind. I'd steer well-clear of them unless it's something you'll never find elsewhere.

One thing that's really handy about these forums is the search feature.

That's big talk coming from someone who recommended a business without having dealt with them in the first place.

Yes, I know what the search engine is, thank you. Seeing that the topic had nothing to do with Buy-Rite, I did not feel it necessary to use the search feature prior to making my post. The orginal post was simply asking for places to buy Turbo CD-Roms. I responded with 3 places to find the Turbo CD-Roms, unlike the few previous posters who gave the guy an attitude for mispelling TurboGrafx or simply replied "ebay." Now if people disagree with my recommendation that is another thing, but don't harp on me because I didn't know people had bad experiences with Buy-Rite. That's all I am saying.

Hey, dude...

Did you want a place that sells CD games for the Turbo-Grafx CD system or are you just looking for ROMS of the CD games?

Just look at the mess above! @_@

You think there would be some sort of sticky with online retailers NOT to do business with.

@ esquire - Of course I assumed you knew that Buy Rite was a scam company. You have been on this site for a little more than 2 years now. There have been tons of topics (as the search has shown) of how bad Buy Rite is. I wasn't trying to bash you or anything but what would've happened had he purchased something from them? He'd probably be out of some nice cash there. And nobody wants that at all.

forcenotmatrix, are you looking for actual TG-16 CD games or are you going down the ROM path? Might want to clear that bit up somewhat. ;)

Thanks. :embarrassed:

If it's just ROMs (they're not CD-ROMS, just ROMS) you're looking for, look no further than your favorite emulation site, Digital Press :)

Personally, I would like to know where to find Turbo CDs that come as originally packaged.

Not just the jewel case, but the outer cardboard box - and not all fucked up, either.

Now THAT would be some useful information. :o

I have bought new Turbo CD games from Telegames Uk with no problem. The problem with is though some of their stuff is way overpriced, while others are ok. For instance, Lords of Thunder and Forgotten Worlds are $39.95 (they go for about $25 used on ebay) which is not bad considering they are new and sealed. But then Addam's Family is $69.95, which is utterly ridiculous.

If you're looking for new games, I vote for Turbo Zone Direct, www.tzd.com , and Telegames, www.telegames.com . I've have personally ordered from both of those places. TZD provides the best service you can get. Telegames order process is outdated, but they ship fast and package well. They are also expensive, like it's already been stated 10 times, but when you look at how some dickheads constantly pay 10 bucks less for certain used and loose games on eBay, some stuff is really a pretty decent deal.

If you're looking for CD ROMS, as in you want to play them on an emulator, you need to look for ISO's. I've never seen them called ROMs on sites. In my findings, they are a bitch to find for free. I've only seen a couple of sites that have them, and they all download like shit. Maybe some are better, but I'm talking free sites. I'm not into paying money for what amounts to arrrh matey, starboard on the poopdeck!

Oh, and HOLY SHIT! That is totally awesome about the games on DP! And to think I've been getting most of my stuff from ex-Communists.
