I've seen these before..they aren't super rare, but you got a great deal on it!! The rarer ones connect to a TV, if I remember correctly.

Damn, nice find, and not expensive at all.

I'd really like to snag one of those at one point.

I am VERY interested in the cart as I have been looking for that one (assuming it's the one I think it is).

All it shows is a few graphics, comes on with some writing about the gameboy now in color. The whole thing is dam good nick just some makes on the corners must of been where it got nocked in the post. Also the exposed bit of the gameboy is slighly darker then the rest - due to the light :eek 2:

Does the cart have a name (ie Gameboy Color Demo)? I'd like to add it to the rarity guide but need a little more info. Can you scan it?

I always think that those are the coolest ones :D

I have a GBC rom of some Nintendo-made graphics-testing cart. I wonder if this is the same one...

Christ, that's cheaper than you'll find a new GBA in stores...anywhere, as far as I know (or really close). Pretty darn good!

That's Awesome! I have seen those before and always wanted them. I am really into getting stands, signs, cases, etc. like that but can never find them. Only on ebay I guess. Anyways, cool buy!!

Very nice, and I too will congratulate you on the price. Make sure you get the name and cart scan to Mikeetler so it will be in the database. Seeing new entries is a beautiful thing.

Well, yeah, but i's a GBC, not a GBA...so it kinda makes sense...but still, what a price!

I've got the same cartridge (Mike, it's on the spreadsheet I sent you a while back) from a Nintendo rep back in 1999. It just runs a demo of the (then) new color graphics.

Nice display! I have the simpler version that doesn't have the light and has a smaller base. It's in the first picture here: (http://photos.yahoo.com/l_lamb) next to the Virtual Boy, and the demo cartridge is also scanned in this album.

That it is. Don't know how I missed it. So the cart label says "Game Boy Color Demo Cartridge" or is that just how you had it listed? (Edit: Nevermind, I didn't catch that you had the scan until after I replied. ;) )
