Black Sega Sports Dreamcast, how rare ye be

The MOST ridiculous aucion I've ever seen really took me back and made me look at what I've done with my life. Not really, but seriously it was bad. About a year or so ago, I was searching for some Japanese dreamcasts and came across this..."LIMITED EDITION SEGA SPORTS DREAMCAST BLACK *RARE*" or something to that effect. Ok, haha, rare right, but the starting price was $500, thats right FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS AMERICAN CURRENCY. It came with NFL 2k and NBA 2k and 1 black controller. Five hundred dollars, for a console which is sold for $15 at Gamestop. I worked at a Gamestop and we had atleast 2 in stock at any given time. I almost wrote an e-mail to the guy, but I didn't want to waste the effort.

I picked mine up at Gamestop and last I knew they werent worth much more then that

A person i know paid 300 US for a new sports-edition DC.....that means there might be other idiots willing to spend the same or even more for one of those...

if you are after rare black DC, get JPN R7 set.
not only it's much more rare but comes with black BBA as standard!

do those ones at your gamestop come complete (box and all)?

if so, i might have tou pick me one up on my next paycheck. i have actually been wanting a complete one, but am not willing to pay alot for it.

the gamestores near me don't sell those ones.
