Sorry to bother but I am down to 1 last Sega 32X game I need.

It is World Series Baseball Starring Deon Sanders for the Sega 32X COMPLETE.

Any help would be great.

I know that cock sucker doesn't reply to me about US to Canada shipping and then next thing I know it tagged another 20 bucks onto it, I had seen it for cheaper than that before.

What a bastard.

Oh man! An R6 in the DP guide, one of the very few 32X games that I don't have yet, and it's brand new! Please, somebody loan me the money for it or buy it and let me buy it from you when I can afford it! I asked the guy if he would let me pay for it in installments, but I doubt he'll go for it, and I need this game! What a lousy time to be short on cash! Anybody willing to help?

Well I didn't mean to "jack" your thread, but I'm not that far behind you, and it didn't sound like you really wanted to buy it from this guy anyway. There's not that many 32X games that I need either, and I already have Spiderman Web of Fire, so this is the only rare 32X game that I need too.

Not sure if these are complete with instructions, but here's a couple with boxes that are reasonably priced, and I'm sure they'll ship to Canada too:

http://www.usedgames.com/display/?view=32x&View_Sega_32X_Games

I've bought from them before, no complaints at all. Very fast shipping too.

BTW, look on the bright side, you're better off than I am because it sounds like you can actually afford it right now. I'm a few paychecks away from it. :(

No problem, man. I'm not out to stab anyone in the back, especially a fellow DP'er. I'm just alot more picky about my collecting, and I'm only interested in factory sealed games, so I really do wish that I had enough money to pay for this game in full right now. I'm sure that it would take me even longer to find another sealed copy of it, if there's even anymore still out there, so it sucks that I just don't have enough money for it right now. It wouldn't take me very long to pay it off, if I could pay for it in a few installments, because I always keep my promises and come up with all the money I need somehow. But right now I'm just a little too low on funds to be able to buy a game this expensive. I'd be willing to pay $100 for it, if someone would buy it and hold it for me. I could make payments on it, or just wait until I had enough to pay for it in full, but the timing of this auction is just a little too soon for me now.

So, anybody here wanna make a few extra bucks on buying the sealed one at the top of this thread for me, and working out a payment plan for it? I really don't think the seller will be willing to work with me on it, but since it is such a rare game, it's not like you'd have very much trouble in getting your money back on it if I didn't come up with the money to buy it from you. But as I said, I always keep my word, so no worries there. It would only take me a few weeks to pay it off, but I do need some time to come up with it. My income isn't what it used to be, so it's very hard for me to bid on auctions like this one myself now. And they always seem to finally come up right after I spent the money for them on something else too! I search for stuff like this for weeks when I actually have the money, and nothing ever comes up, but as soon as I do spend all the money I have to spare there they are on ebay!

Indeed, if anyone has a spare DarXide on their hands, I'll pay big for it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

How many people actually own DarXide, anyway?

I have a spare T-Mek (complete) and some 32x CD games for trade if anyone is interested.

Cheers

LOL You are so wrong, Tynstar!

Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna have to accept the sad fact that this one is gonna get away. I still wish that I had the money for it right now though. I hate it when I only miss out on something just because I don't happen to have the cash for it at the time that it's available. I always end up having more than enough cash for it right after it gets away, but by then it's too late. This has happened to me more times than I even care to remember.

I have had the same problem. But dont worry there will be more. And I was joking on the winning the auctions.........maybe..........

Well you know, the more I look at that auction, the more it gives me the creeps. First of all, I noticed that both of the pics say Moby Games on them, so those aren't even pics of the actual item for sale. Second, the seller has yet to respond to any questions from either me or Foxxx. Third, he only has a feedback rating of 1! So when you put all those things together, it doesn't sound like it's a very good risk to bid $70 or more on an item that you may never even get from him, does it? For all we know, he doesn't even have that game, or any of the other items that he's offering for sale. Almost all of them are using stock photos or photos he lifted from Moby Games, and the few that aren't could easily have been lifted from somebody else's auction. I bet you'll only get a voicemail or some sort of answering machine if you try to call that number that he has listed for asking him questions about it too.

So the whole thing is starting to smell like a big scam to me, and I'd hate to see anybody here getting burned on this auction, especially if they were only trying to help me or Foxxx out in the first place. And I sure as heck wouldn't want to have to repay a $70 loan with $30 interest for something that I'm never gonna get either. So I think there's probably a very good reason why I don't have enough money to buy that game right now. Besides, it's very out of character for me to even be asking anybody for some kind of assistance with buying a game, much less a bunch of people that I still hardly know, who hardly know me. I'm kind of embarrassed about it, but I know that everyone here understands. Especially when a rare find such as this is at stake, and it would complete a collection, or come close to completing one. So with all that said, I think you're right Tynstar. There will be another one.

Even if the guy had 1000+ positive and it was a good pick that game is not worth $70.

Iron Draggon
09-10-2004, 05:44 AM
Now what makes you say that? It sold for about $50 brand new around 10 years ago, didn't it? I'd say that only $20 more 10 years later isn't too bad. But then I do have a much different way of looking at collecting old sealed games than most people here do, so I guess it all depends on how you look at it. If you think of it as "Who cares if it's rare, it's still just a sports game!" then no, it probably isn't worth $70. But if you think of it as "Someday this sports game is gonna cost even more than $70, because it's so rare!" then it probably is worth $70. So I tend to look at what I'm willing to pay toward the future, rather than looking at what I'm willing to pay toward the past. Just because you could get it cheap years ago doesn't change it's value now. And that's not gonna prevent it's value from going higher either. If that were the case, then sealed Chrono Triggers would still be only $50.

I just dont get paying that much more for a sealed game. Let alone a sports game. A complete opened one will got for 30-40 right? Even that is a tad high but better. And because when it was new it was $50 doesnt mean that it is worth $50 still.

Iron Draggon

Well, like I said, I guess it just depends on what kind of collector you are. I don't buy used games, so to me it doesn't matter if it's loose or complete. I'm not gonna buy it unless it's factory sealed, so anything else isn't worth it.

Nothing wrong with either style of collecting, but once you establish what your own rules of collecting are, none of the other styles will work for you. That's the beauty of it, we get to decide what our own values are for stuff.
