No, just an inexperienced newbie bidder

Looks like inexperienced shill bidding to me. If you are going to shill bid, don't go up in silly increments. Unless that's just to throw us off. Note the bid retraction. He put in his super high bid to find out the legitimite bidders proxy, then retracted it and placed bids (in small increments) up to one cent less than that proxy. Shill bidding at it's finest.

I don't know, I have purchased from Super-Bob before, and he seemed like a good seller. I don't know why he would do something as immoral as that.

That Maryloupotter is a real bitch to deal with. I've had her/him/it screw with me and others on auctions I've been interested in on in the last few weeks too.

This game did not sell for his price last time it was listed last week.

some people on eBay are not very smart. that is alright by me, just weed them out and go for the good ones.

chances are with a BIN of $275, the reserve is probably pretty close to that, so dont even bother trying to get any sort of deal on this one....unless you want to spend about $275 on the game, just ignore this auction

Not much of a point in shill bidding an auction with a reserve :)

Actually, one day I was REALLY REALLY bored, and I found an auction I wanted. Sadley, it had a reserve. I decided it would be fun to see HOW many bids I could place on it without hitting the reserve. I got up to around 75.

Yeah, that night, I was bored as hell

What is shill bidding? I thought it was when I have a friend bid on one of my auctions to drive up the price without winning the auction. Or I suppose if you had more than one eBay screen name you could bid on your own auctions. Please explaine how this works and what to look out for.

Yeah, I do not see that as shill bidding. Just a dumbass buyer.
Good luck Chunky. I saw CharityCaseGreg put in the bid just below yours....
