I got a copy of Final Fantasy 3 for the Snes. It has the box ( corner has a little damage, and there is a little wear where the box was opened), manual ( nm), Poster( nm), and cart with dust cover( mint)
for $40

Yes that's a damn good deal. I usually find FF 3 selling well over that for just cart only. :-P
I wish I could find deals like that. :)

If you plan on playing it, then I say yes. I got a cart-only copy for $3 and played it for around 96 hours (I still haven't beaten it though x_x )
very good deal. I got mine in about the same condition for $35 a few years back. I've played through it twice, and it is an awesome game.

Its under market price if thats what you are asking , however with more searching in the wild you may have come across a better deal ;)
I have 3 copies of this game (one complete) and never paid more than 35 dollars.

I still have the one my friends all chipped in and got me for my birthday. It was $70 for that game when it came out here. My b-days 11-3 and 'faqs said the game came out 10/11/94...you bet i was happy. Needless to say, those guys are still my friends. :D That game never really went down in price much..i would doubt there was ever a time you could get a complete for less than $40 (from a game store i mean) i remember ff2 was $50 used at game stores, i wanted it after i beat ff3.

I think I paid $10 and $15 for both of mine, cart only....good prices, I though.
Best ever was Chrono Trigger (SNES) for $2.50 with manual. W00T! :D Sold it for $50 or so...

What's scarier...the fact that Abdul got it for under eBay prices...or the fact that's apparently what he was charged in the wild? :O
Plus, with money like that to spend on Final Fantasy games, I guess there isn't any rush to send your payment for books, then ;)
(Just kidding - that's going according to plan.)

I actually got a job, so I have some income, take your time with your payment.
Also, I found this game in the wild, its a great game

You got a great deal there, but I personally couldn't see myself paying that in the wild.
Whenever I run across stuff at a flea market that has obviously been priced due to eBay standards...my cheap ass instinct kicks in and I become furious and wind up sitting it back down, scoffing at the price, and leaving the table pretty damn irritated.
Just. can't. do it.
