All of you in the Chicago Land area know how left field this store's prices, but for all of you elsewhere check this site out and post your thoughts. It's a chain of stores around here, the cds are reasonable, but most of the games and dvds can be bought elsewhere new for cheaper than they are selling them used . Atari and other classics are reasonable but any mainstream stuff is just plain stupid. Type and search for nes games for a real kicker. @_@ x_x

Anyway chime in and tell us what you think.

I much prefer the cd store that tonyvortex works at in Indiana. PSX games for $1.99, PS2 games around $3.99, Gamecube games for $5.99, still has a bunch of Sega stuff, 2600 and Intellivision carts...it's bliss.

I went there last week and came back with three bags full of stuff for less than $100. :D

Nothing but a dead link for me.

Good shoping Queen, I would envy you more if I knew what was in the bags!

I thought that $18 for MGS2:Sub (PS2) was good, but Ye Gods! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8129444040&rd=1) I might just have to get myself some more GC games if they can be found at prices like this!

I can't remember everything, but there was at least 30 PSX games at $2 each and the rest was a mix of PS2 (Madden 2004, Project Eden, Mace Griffin, RTX Red Rock for $4 each), GC (Waverace and Starfox Adventures for $7 each and a couple others for $5.99 which I'm blank on), some common Saturn and N64 games between $1.99-$3.99, WWF Raw for SNES for $3.99, couple Sega CD, Game Gear, and Dreamcast games too. Everything was also complete and mint. There was a LOT left and I'm going back again after I pay my rent. ;)

Oh, and this is also the same store where someone traded in a boxed Quadrun and silver label Gravitar which was later sold for $1. :eek 2:

(Note: This store is NOT the one in the link, it's in northwest Indiana.)

I remember seeing Qof's score there a little while ago which makes me wish I had one near me instead of stupid zia's records. Some of the website prices were insane. Aerobiz for genesis....38 dollars =D

Aerobiz and Aerobiz Supersonic are both quite rare for both Genesis & SNES. Take a look at auctions for them on ebay, if you can even find them there. Supersonic is more sought after than Aerobiz is, but they both go for alot more than you think now. I'd say their prices are fairly accurate, as far as I can tell. But of course I know some places where I could get alot of those games cheaper too, and even factory sealed as you said, but otherwise their prices seem to be about the same as most of their competitors. Not every store can afford to run on a business model where they make less profit. I dunno anything about the going rates for NES games or new console games though, so I couldn't tell you very much about their prices on those games.

the one out by us is just a collector store, they collect stuff to sell at their more popular gurnee and chicago stores. and they sell a ton. But the real deal is they buy in cash, i seen so many people selling stuff that look like they needed a fix NOW than anything.

But they also have deals on SMS games, i usually pick them up all the time for 1.99 complete.

The Music Recyclery near me sells a copy of Tetris Plus for SS for about $60, and Chrono Trigger...loose...not in mint condition for $90.

I also saw them sell Panzer Dragoon SS for about $60.

"What the hell?" The most used phrase in a Music Recyclery.

What's funny is that I think the stores are black holes. The one in my mall, I *swear*, gets in about 20 huge rubbermaid containers of shipment a day, yet there's literally nothing new on the shelves each time I go.

My favorite price so far was the $74.98 for Crusader of Centy. Cart only, half the label.

And I need to check out this store Queen has access too, badly.
