As a few of you know I am searching for an Arcade Machine / Pinball Machine for my basement. A few of you recommended the MVS Cabs , which I am still hunting around for. I found a small dealer who has a handful of machines:
I would obviously inspect and test before buying. They state that these have been cleaned, repaired and are considered saleable.
Robocop 2 =200.00
Surf Planet = 200.00
US Classic Golf = 200.00
Lord of Gun = 375.00
Growl = 200.00
24 in 1 Nintendo Unit = 375.00
I was considering the 24 in 1 since those games would be probably the speed my kids could handle. The Lord of Gun which is think is like an Operation Wolf type is intriguing but my kids and guns probably won't go over big with the wife.
What do you guys think of these?
Dustin
The prices look reasonable.
Check KLOV.com for details & screenshots for each game.

I'd get the Nintendo unit. Is it a PLaychoice 10? I'm asking because I've never heard o a 24-in01 Nintendo game.

I am not sure I asked the seller to send me more info and a picture.

As none of the games listed fit my personal tastes, at least as far as owning the cabinet, I'd probably inspect each machine and purchase one based on these criteria:
JAMMA?
How many buttons / sticks on the control panel?
Dedicated cab?
Clean / nice graphics?
Nice monitor?
Ideally, you could pick up a JAMMA machine in nice shape with lots of buttons on it, that way it's ready to rock with any number of other boards you purchase later on. :)

I am a few steps behind you guys and I am not up to speed on the whole JAMMA thing
From what i gather you can swap out the boards within the game to play other games. How difficult is that? where can I read more about it?

Some pretty good info here: http://www.gamearchive.com/Video_Games/FAQs/conversionfaq.html
All of it is pretty good reading for converting games but it has a few paragraphs about JAMMA

Swapping a JAMMA board is esentially the same as swapping carts in a console. Power off, swap the board, done! :)
There are some exceptions: if you need more buttons than you might have on a particular cabinet, that kinda stuff, but for the most part, just remove the edge connector from the board, attach it to a different board and voila!

The Nintendo one sounds cool... other than that, none of those games are any good and unless they have a huge monitor, are overpriced.
