Fable - Xbox

Played as good. The whole time I was thinking how much fun it'd be to play evil, and that I was going to as soon as I finished. I started again as evil, but the missions are just too boring now to complete. I'm going to give it a rest for a bit, then see if it's any better. Overall, fun game, too short.

I must say, I'm halfway through Jak II and I'm very impressed with Naughty Dog on their spectacular work on the series. I hope Jak 3 isn't the end of Jak.

I finished Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Totalling 27 hours. Did 97 missions and there are still some left. I finished it on 27th Oct' night so 28th' morning. I was hooked on to that game.

I forget. 15 seems too much. I would have had to start at 3PM (After bringing it home.) and played all the way to 6AM. Hmm.. I must be wrong with my time..

Either way, I still finished it in one sitting. Right through. It took a lot of tries at one point, but thanks to the automatic adjusting difficulty, it got easy. Which is why I suspect it didn't take too long after all.

I'll have to try the game again one day and see how long it really takes.

Maximo vs the Army Zin. The final boss was a blast to beat. I don't have 100% on all the levels. I just started it again on Hard. This probably the best $10 I ever spent I on game. Any chance of a 3rd game coming out?

The last game I finished was Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. WOW!!!! What a fantastic game, I LOVE Metal Gear. The Snake Eater theme song is so cool and breathtaking . The final boss battle was out of this world. If you have a PS2, you have to check this game out :D :D :D

lessee now: just completed inuyasha: secret of the cursed mask (PS2) and nightcaster II: equinox (xbox). the first game is a neat throwback to the "old-school" turn based console rpgs, and despite a slightly too straightforward translation is a decent game for fans of the show.

nightcaster II i picked up as i'll play anything that resembles a dungeon crawler. it's a hell of a lot more fun than any of the reviews you'll read because you need to actually (gasp) pay attention to your enemies and surroundings and take your time moving so that you don't get killed. once you get used to the gameplay mechanic of moving your magic orb with one stick and you character with the other (and exploit the level up ability thanks to monster generators that pump out endless beasts so that you can bump up your character), the game becomes quite enjoyable.

on the visual side, there are some really cool uses of texture art, great lighting effects, and arty magic spells here (you'll need a TV over 25" to appreciate the graphics, trust me), and the game is of a decent enough length so that one or two patient players should enjoy it. one huge caveat... the ending is possibly the most jarringly abrupt i've ever seen in a game. if you pick this up and get that far, there's a 110% possiblilty you'll look like this O_O after the last boss goes down. ah well... it's cheap, and good for about a week's worth of monster killing LOL

There isn't enough free time to finish all the games we want to finish so you should feel proud when you've managed to get through one, even if it's considered a "short game".

So what was the LAST game you finished? I mean, played through some kind of career, season or story mode from beginning to end - not necessarily completing 100% of the game's objectives but still seeing start to ending credits and most of what the game has to offer.

And if you finish another game tomorrow or next week or next month... come back and tell us about that one too.

I finished The Suffering for Xbox earlier in the week. It's not a long game, took about ten hours in normal mode. Fun fact: when you beat the game, you're treated to a "director's cut" prequel level to start your next game - it's a scene that they originally intended to use but it wasn't as exciting as the opening death row/prison stage used in the original version of the game.

The wife and I finally finished Zelda the Windwaker this past week on the Cube, only took us about a year of playing a little bit of the time when we could. We have two toddlers and they do not give you much time. We have started Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness (we love this series), this game got bad reviews but it seems good to us so thats what really matters.

If I had to guess what my next finish will be I'd go with "Mario vs Donkey Kong" followed closely by "Grand Theft Auto Advance" and "Halo 2"...

I just finished Halo 2 last night, and I love the series, but the ENDING??? Not sure how to feel about a short and not understandable ending. It seems that Microsoft rushed this to get it out by Last x-mas. Loved the gameplay, and storyline, but it got repetitive the last few levels. And SPOILER ALERT: The Last Brute was a joke to defeat.

Finished Star Wars KotOR (the first one) last night. I can hardly wait to play the game again as a dark side Jedi. I can see how playing the game for the first time can serve as a "practice run" for your second "real" game. There's so much to learn that I didn't quite know how to make the best choices until the end, and would have done things differently during the first half. Now I can see why most people play this game 3 or 4 times through.
