I have one and paid 200 for it, it's region free and that's pretty much all I know since I haven't used it too much

That's actually a pretty good price (converting to USD). These usually get canned from eBay pretty quick.
I have one, and am purchasing four more for resale. Can't say I've ever had one catch on fire, haha. The biggest thing about these units is that they are getting pretty old (most are 10 years old now at this point). I have heard of people having to switch out the CD drives with newer PSX's before to keep them working.

I tend not to use my playstations anyway so i wont be too pissed if it not working too well. Im happy its boxed, so the debugging bit what does that do? does it just mean its region free and can play cdrs?

Mayhem and I found one at a Game store over there for twenty pounds. I STILL can't believe that one. LOL
But yeah, they'll play anything. Imports, cd-rs, betas, you name it.

56 pounds is a great price - That's less than $100Us even at current exchange rates. I'm trying to get a US dev for under 150, but it's a tough search.

I just got one of those myself at CGE and got just the system for $200. I felt that I paid a little much for mine, but it prevented me from having to scour eBay and loose out on one because it waws pulled or somethng.
Ive yet to see one with a box or controller (That alone made your haul amazing). What would be real nice was it the controller it came with was the same color as the debug unit itself. Let us know when everything finally makes its way to you.

Poor seller! ePC probably canned it multiple times for wording, that's my guess...

There were never, to my knowledge, any blue controllers made. It'll be standard or 3rd party grey one no doubt.

Not to question your better judgement, but i'm sure there are matching controllers! i'm not a 1OO% sure, but i think i might have a pic of the system with controllers, i'll get back! ;)

I'd like to see if there were. My brother used the debug units all the time when working at Hasbro and all of them had regular controllers.

I'm sure they would go through controllers like a fatty through a plate of pork rinds (mmm pork rinds!), so it wouldn't surprised me if those had died or were stowed away somewhere.

There WAS a perfectly matching "semi-metallic" blue controller! I know because about 6 months ago I saw someone selling a complete unit on eBay; here in the US and it had one in the pictures.
I'm STILL kicking myself for not bidding on it at the time; but I was temporarily out of work.. and funds. It ended up going for only around $75 as I recall.
I found another one up for sale last night on eBay:

.. for anyone that's interested. Price isn't too bad either.. but I personally don't want one unless it includes the matching controller.. which this one doesn't.. as well.
