Fibs, Lies & Video Games (Video Game Related Lies)

Ever since I was young, just about all my gaming friends had some kind of video game related lie they believe to be true. Of course, most of the time they were pretty stupid.

Just yesterday, I had a friend tell me that he was POSITIVE you can play DVD's on an xBox by plugging the controller in slot 3.

Then the other day, another guy I knew told me that his friend burned 11 Xbox games to his xBox hard drive and can play them like that.

Of course, there are tons of classic ones, like the MK & SF rumors, but I want to hear some totally original stuff. What kinda Video Game related lies have you heard?

Well...you know that if you go to ganon's dungeon and go the room right before it....you can play your flute and the old guy will come out. He will say "and the two boys stuck it in" and then link says "well somebody has to do the dishes!"

Maybe he has a modded Xbox? I believe you can play them right off the HDD, once you replace it.

That's actually entirely possible with a modded Xbox. I know lots of people who do that.

well, back in the day when Pokemon Red and blue were super-popular, I heard many a school yard rumor. For example, Charcoal the barbeque pokemon, mew #3-47560099, pikablue, flareizard, togepy, the mist stone, and probably about 1000 more i'm forgetting. Sad thing is I tried most of these.
