well, my 2 holy grails in the arcade world were a 4-Slot dedicated big red Neo Geo MVS cab and a Gottlieb Super Mario Bros. Pinball machine, and as some of you may know, i currently own both of those.

so, now that i have my holy grails (amoung a few other machines) i have to ask myself, what do i want next......then i remebered seeing this picture a long time ago

http://hardmvs.com/xml/sAm/blue/blueb.jpg

it is a Brazilian neo geo mvs cabinet....more info about it here... http://hardmvs.com/xml/sAm/sAmcabs.htm

since this is a foreign cabinet it would be VERY hard to find, but that is what i would love to find next....anyone else have something they are looking for after acquiring their holy grail?

Well, buying cabinets is easy -- it's all the little things that go with them that's hard. Some of my 20 year old cabinets look like they're 20 years old. That's my next task -- taking some of these cabinets (particularly my Gauntlet II cabinet) and restoring them to "like new" condition.

Very few people ever see my games but me, my family, and my friends, so restoring them wouldn't be for a financial reason or anything like that. It would just be for my own personal satisfaction and enjoyment.

I really want a Tempest and an Atomiswave.

Just bought the Atomiswave last week so I'm good on that front. Tempest I'll pick up when I get around to it.

I kinda want a Neo mini cute cab but I have a 4-slot so no real need.

I got machines I want but the one I wanted more then anything I got- x and o's football. I would really like to pick up a demolition derby soon but thats's not very important.

I would love to restore my Ms.Pacman machine considering it is a piece of junk right now. Just good moniter and board. So I guess I agree with Flacks Post.

I'd like to put an Atomiswave into my Candy cab using a JAMMA splitter cable along with my 4-slot. I cant stand the thought of missing out on Metal Slug 6 when it comes out on the Atomiswave.

After I get my holy grails? I ask for a week off and a roll of quarters. Dim the lights, load the CD changer up with Journey and Split Enz and Boston, and I'll see you guys in seven days.

Oh, and maybe a sturdy barstool too.

I do not own a cabinet at all, and I always wanted one. Now, when I think about what it is I want...well of course I want it all! :) I wouldn't be getting a cab for any collector/monitary purpose, but just to have one for myself...for fun. I think I would rather build a Mame cab however, or better yet, get a pre-built model like this:

Now, if I had 5k, THAT would be my Holy Grail!

I have three major wants:

Joust cocktail cabinent
Neo Geo MVS any version
Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

If I could get anyone of those three (especially the neo) then I would be set. I'd also need more room though.

I still want terra presta, and the other was mat mania, but i bought all the boards and marquee and overlays for that one and if i figure out how to convert it to jamma, i am all set.

my next would be a DK or more so a mario Bros. cab.

I'd really love to have the 6 player X-men arcade in mint condition. Or atleast build one myself to my specs.

Yeah, that would be really cool. All I've been able to find so far has been the four player one.

Sweet. There's a MKI within driving distance ending tomorrow on ebay that I'm keeping my eye on.
