If i had a camera, this would be 100x more simpler.

I go to fire up the second cabinet. This is the one with the rolling monitor. GF suggested testing the board to see if it is a MK 1 board or if by chance its the MK II board that we originally went to pick up.

I take my extension cord and go to plug it it, and guess what, no cord coming out the cab. Figured its inside, its not. What I do see inside is a set of red wires, and black wires that are capped off. From these caps they go a little ways and split up that leads to what looks like what the monitor should be connected to, and then up to the marque and speakers, and then the rest go down to the boards and what not. Is thise what the cable should be connected to? id check the other machine but theres a nasty pad lock in the way and i dont have bolt cutters handy.

If that is what the cord goes to, can i pick up a heavy duty black cable and splice it in?

Sounds like someone ripped out the entire power supply to me. You can buy one new from bob roberts for $15-$20 I believe.

OK, missed that part :)

MK Cabs use the -5 power switch as well as (in most jamma cabs) the 2 +5, the +12, and the ground. Yellow is -5, Black is ground, not sure on the to + I know one or all is red. I THINK +5 is red, and +12 is blue or orange.
