Let's see.

NES
Mega Man 2 (loose)
Zelda 2 Classic Series (complete)

Genesis
Phantasy Star II (boxed)
Judge Dredd pre-release promo (boxed)

SNES
Packy & Marlon (loose)
Star Fox promo (loose)
Yoshi's Island (loose)

PS2
Silent Hill 2 (Greatest Hits [which means extra stuff!])
Metal Gear Solid 2 (for a friend!)
The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 (for a girlfriend!)
Katamari Damacy (preordered, paid in full) (not pictured)

PS1
Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions (for me!)

Gamecube
Beyond Good and Evil

XBox
Fable ($15 toward a preorder)
Fable Preorder DVD (x2)

If you count the Circuit City crap I traded in at a $5 loss a pop, I paid about $33 for all of this. If you don't count those, I only spent $18.

So what's the big EB promotion? I haven't heard anything about it.

Trade in any three games, get an additional $10 on top of the normal trade-in price! Trade in four, get $15! Five, $20!

Madden 2002 is $1.99.

Do the math.

NICE!

Damn, a complete Zelda II?! Where do you live that people don't buy this stuff? Wow.

So wait, trade in ANY three games?

Also, and you didn't hear it form me, the computer makes it a cumulative trade too, so if you trade in 8 games, it's the total value plus $15 for the first 5 and $10 for the last 3.

I had a customer trade in abotu $89 worth of stuff that jumped to $120.

Were I a trading-in type of person, I'd be all over it too.

Great find. Just curious, how much was the Phantasy Star II on it's own?

I should specify that the actual sign says that all games must include box and instructions, and that they must be "three different titles." Out of the six EBs I went to, though, only one read and honored the fine print. I managed to literally buy and trade in five copies of Madden 2002 at one of the others.

Right on, I've snagged some great old boxed/complete games at EB's around my area...I just wish there were more around =\.

Also, that Zelda is the Classics Series version. Is it more or less rare than the original release?

Nice haul. Especially Phantasy Star II. Good to see the countless Madden releases being useful for something. :P

I haven't played it yet, but here's a closeup. Someone I talked to said it's an actual demo, with only a couple levels.

That Dredd demo is timed. I found one at a video store once. Not real sure about anything else, but what you can play is exactly the same as the complete version.

Their promotion is bullcrap! I tried to trade in Bombastic, Outlaw Volleyball: Red Hot, and Mad Maestro, and they only offered me $12. These were sealed games, so they're getting traded on DP instead...

Do PS1 games apply as well?

You can only trade in PS2, XBox, and Gamecube games. You can obviously buy whatever you want with the credit, though.

And to the poster above, sorry, Judge Dredd is already out of my hands.

Awww, you didn't tell the story the way you told me it. It was much better that way :)

Hmm, looks like I'm going to have to take EB up on this deal. It's too good not to take advantage of.

Redeye: Damn you got 4 things I wanted in one haul. The demo, packy and marlon, phantasy star 2, and the starfox "not for resale". Nice job.

Same here :(

Tried out the game...I like it quite a bit! I'm advised it gets bad "past the fourth level," but as I hadn't gotten that far it seemed great!

Those happen to be the items I'm getting rid of! Judge Dredd is already taken, but feel free to make me an offer on the other three. Cash or Gameboy games.
