Hi everyone,

I am simply looking for some advice from those of you who are familiar with ebay rules and regulations. I'm having problems with two sellers and I'm not sure what kind of action to take. I'll run down the situation and you can provide me with feedback.

Ok, I won this item http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8128914124&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT on the 5th of September. I was really excited as I love this game and got a good deal on it. Upon winning the auction I received one of those generic ebay "congratulations you won some item" email. It had the total in it and some of the seller's personal info, but no address. So, I went and bought a money order for payment and emailed the seller for his address. A couple days went by without a response. So, I emailed him again requesting the address. A few more days go by and I email him a third time. Here we are now eight days after the auction ended and the seller still hasn't replied to a single email of mine. I know I have the right email address and I never received an ebay invoice email with a shipping addy in it. At this point, I'm pretty sure he/she is ignoring my emails. I am not completely sure why this is happening, but I have a few ideas. Perhaps this seller is out of town. Maybe I do indeed have the wrong email address. Or maybe the seller is hoping I will eventually give up in trying to contact them so he/she can relist the game and get more money for it. The seller seems legit though and has good feedback - so I'm at a bit of a loss. Even if I get the address now, I'm not sure I would send payment. What's to keep this person from just keeping the money that comes and not send the game?

Ok, the second situation goes something like this. I won this auction http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8127393669&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT on August 28th. I got an invoice email from this seller with a total and shipping address. Once I got it, I promptly sent out payment in the form of a money order. Its now 15 days after auctions end and I still haven't received the item. I've emailed the seller at least three times to find out where the item was at, when payment was received, etc. I haven't gotten a reply back. I'm not sure if I'm being too impatient on this one or not. But I am starting to suspect I won't be getting this memory card.

It's not exactly like these are big ticket items; they aren't at all. I just am anxious to get them both. And when a seller's communication sucks, its hard to determine the status of an ebay transaction. Right now I am not sure what to do about these situations. What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.

The first one seems like an honest seller and he's got positive feedback from other buyers with items ending the same day as yours.Try to contact the buyers through eBay ask seller a question form and ask if they can help you out.

As for the second one, isn't there a way to know if MO has been claimed?

As for the first auction I'd assume that he's away before you send him any rude emails. If you feel the need to you can Get His Contact Info (http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?UserInformationRequest) from ebay and call him directly. Another solution is to sign up for a Paypal account and you won't have this problem in the future.

As for the second auction, if you paid with a money order you should figure that it may take a week to get to him and then another week for the shipped product to be shipped to you. I say to give it time. If after three weeks you haven't received your item send him an email. If you dont get a response then call him at home using the link I provided above.
