Stopped by a goodwill yesterday and found 6 CD-i games, Tetris, Golf, Pinball, and three others, all boxed and pristine. Now I just need to get a CD-i player ;) Or if that CD-ice emu ever gets going again!

Also found for the Atari 2600 Mario Bros., Star Wars:ESB, and Atlantis and about 8 common Intv games, Burgertime, Frogger, Utopia, Backgammon, Misson X, Locomotion, Dragonfire, and IceTrek.

All this was in the same box or right next to it so someone had some weird tastes, CD-i and Intv?

I'm going out tomorrow, before Columbus becomes a riot zone :?  (I hate Ohio State vs. Michigan week...go BALL FREAKIN' STATE!!)

And I'm either getting DDRMAX and a Dance Pad (just a cheapie, just in case I don't get into it...) or the Activision Anthology...

anyone want to sway me either way???

Being among the seasonal help at my EB, it often falls to me to vacuum the floors and empty our wastebasket upon closing. A few nights ago, I dumped the garbage out into a larger bag, and a 32X system tumbled out, along with a Genesis Game Genie, its book, and some EA-made four-player adapter piece for the Genesis. Our trash being nothing but paper and shrink wrap, everything was in unspoiled condition.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Some guy wanted to trade that stuff in, but we didn't have it in our system," responded my boss. "So he told us to throw it away. You want it? Take it."

And I did. The 32X doesn't have any cables or an AC cord, but it's a start. I always wanted to own Chaotix . . .

Went to TRU to get DDRMax...they didn't have any left, so I got Disney Mix, and a cheapo dance pad...I've learned two things...

1. I'm horrifically out of shape...

2. I have no rhythm...

I can beat the first 3 songs on basic mode with AA or AAA ratings...after that, it's ugly...but fun.

Raedon
11-23-2002, 06:03 PM

I went hunting for the first time in months yesterday... Actually it wasn't really a "hunt" as I only went to one place: a school fund-raiser type flea market. Gotta love those! Even better than church rummage sales!

For a whopping $7 total I got:

NES w/ RF switch & 1 controller (no power supply, probably needs pin connector too)
NES games (loose): Contra, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Q*Bert, Gumshoe, Gunfight, Winter Games and 1 more I can't remember
SNES games (complete): Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and Yoshi's Island

Anyway, I don't collect Nintendo so if anyone wants this crap just email me.

My local Babagges and Funco are th eonly places for NES carts so I gotta go by their prices least until I get my DP Guide...

Let me know what you're looking for. We have 2 shops around me that have no less than 100 Saturn games each (obviously some dupe titles). Nothing rare.. I've already checked :)

Kaine? Do you enjoy the game? Then you didn't overpay!! That simple...now, according to the DP Guide, you paid a little much for it, but if you are happy, then that is all that really matters!!!

kainemaxwell
11-25-2002, 09:01 PM
I can't wait till i get my DP Guide so I can check all these rarities myself. But I am happy with it and amazingly the nes ms. pac-man is pretty much like the Genesis version! Kirby's Adventure is easy, but it's really fun to play!
