Is the DS coming out this year? Hmmmmmm

Gosh, you would think that there would be more detailed information about the DS if it was coming out this year. With only three months about till X'mas, you would think that at least a launch game list, price, and street date would be released. I went to several stores such as Game Crazy and Game Stop, and they did not have any specific details. I feel with the bloodbath of the holiday approaching, these details need to alreaday be released. I have alot of things to buy this year and If I cant plan it out early, I guess I will wait. Anyone else feel this way?

EB Games has it listed coming out on November 29th of this year. I also remember reading in an issue of EGM that it would be out around Thanksgiving, and also the recent price drop of the GBA SP leads me to believe that the next handheld is on it's way. But you know how release dates are.

Yes, I honestly do not expect it to come out. Now is crunch time, kids are already making Christmas lists as I found out yesterday.

I've had several customers ask about prices, release dates, etc. but the only thing I could tell them was "Well, someone sent me a link to Walmarts site and they advertise it for $199"

Another customer came in and said that Nintendo's own website lists the system as coming out before Christmas, but no titles coming out until January.

I don't think it will happen, as we should have at least been given a price by now.

I just read something about this on ign.com on the Nintendo DS part. It said though if Nintendo wait til next year, it will make developers angry because of certain budget planned for the year.
I hope Nintendo gets this launched before the end of the year. They have too get this jump on the PSP. But other than that, of course I want this thing this year. Either way, i will be of course picking one up on launch day and hopefully like 5 games if they are done yet?
