Looking for Official DC Replacement Case (Colored)

Hey -

I'm looking for one of those colored DC replacement cases - an official one. If anyone would care to part with one, I'm your man.

Someone wanted to charge me 40 Euros shipped (I'm in the US) and I thought that was too pricey...

Official? I haven't seen any of those... but you can get a generic one from NCSX for $20 +shipping

yeah but the official ones have the DC logo on them - those other ones don't and that's the important part. Apparently from what other DPers have told me, these things are more scarce than I thought. Apprently paying over 50 USD is common. Sheesh. oh well!

Wow, really? I had no idea that they were that scarce. I got my official DC case free when I bought my Dreamcast at Target on launch.

Nork he is talking about the replacement shells for the dreamcast. Sega of Japan released 5 colors I believe in very limited numbers only in Japan. It is only the top half of the shell but it is official.

Duh...makes sense now. Why would stupid carrying cases sell for $50? My reading comprehension skills ain't what they used to be.

there were couple of official replacement shells sold via DC Direct in Japan. I have Jet Black one but there were Smoke Black and Crystal white... even in Japan these thing will set you back around 4000-5000 yen IF you can find unused one.
