I dont want to use a switch box to hook up my colecovision so can anyone here explain to me how I use, and then hook up a colecovision with one of these? http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=278-480 thanks

I have one of these plugged into my "spare bedroom of doom" TV which allows me to swap between my colecovision, atari 2600, and my Astrocade. It's easy to use and elminated a bunch of interference.

and that plugs directly into the switch box? if not exactly how do i use that connector? thanks!

Yeah, you want the F connector that bigdaddychester mentioned. I recently purchased one to hook up my own Colecovision. Basically it has a regular coaxial connection on one end and an RCA/phono plug on the other. The coaxial connection hooks up to the antenna/cable TV input on your TV or VCR. The phono connection takes a regular RCA cable (you can get them almost anywhere if you don't have the one that came with the system) and connects to the back of the Colecovision.

You may also wish to buy an A-B coaxial input switch box so you can have your regular cable TV cable and your game system hooked up at the same time.
