I've been playing alot of the "Beats of Rage" Mods on my Dreamcast, but that d-pad on the regular controller doesnt cut it.

Was there ever a gamepad (d-pad + buttons) created for the Dreamcast?

There's some saturn-style fighter controllers made for DC, yes. I don't think they were ever brought to the US, but I did find one in Madison, WI awhile back. Think saturn pad with a VMU slot. Cool stuff.

that would be ASCII pad for DC.
yes it looks cool and it fetches high premium BUT the thing breaks down too easily... I've heard many people with malfunctioning buttons and etc.

though I wouldn't mind getting one just for my collection. :D

for TC3 try gamechoice whether Chan has one in stock...
cheers

Well i have a temp solution to my problem that seems to work well.

I was doing some Googling and heard some talk about those MadCatz controllers (with the 6 buttons) and how they were good but the d-pad was crap. Well, i replaced the sucky D-pad on the one i have with one from a bum Saturn controller and it fixed my problem.

Thanks for the help guys and when this controller gives it up i will search out for a (better) replacement.
