Well, I am going to my dorm, and I have small tv that can only play one tv, so which to take... Ps2 or Gamecube?

I will not be selling the other one, just not play it till I get back home.

thanks

PS2. You can play somewhere around 2000 games with it.

How can we answer this question? You need to decide which one you like better. However, if you think that will detract from good study habits, perhaps you should take the one you don't like better.

Take them both!

But, If you really have to choose, being as I own a gamecube, and my brother took the playstation2 to college, I would say Gamecube.

I would lead towards the cube since there are a lot more "party" games for it

played super monkey ball 2 til 3 and this was after graduation...kinda sad when you think about it

I just moved into my dorm a few weeks ago, I'd say GC as its much better for multiplayer (and thatll make you popular). But if your gonna be a loner then the ps2 is right for you, consider yourself lucky though, my parents wont even let me have a tv, i get bored outta my mind sometimes :(

Both. I mean, the GameCube is pretty tiny, and you could wedge the PS2 between some books standing up.

Well the GCN has great games for inviting your buddies over and having mutiplayer fests. But if you're a solo gamer I'd say PS2

Especially not both. All that would be left for you to do is stand out in the hall with a sandwich board that says "STEAL FROM ME!!"

Limiting to one, I'd stick with the GCN for mulitplayer-ness,

everybody will have a ps2, you can just play theirs. some will have a cube, but everybody, so i'd say take the cube. you could always switch them out when you go home on breaks.

wrong options - bring a dreamcast instead! for the price of one PS2 game you can get a good set up with some quality games. spend a little more to get four controllers and you're golden. the games are nearly state of the art and dirt cheap. if it gets broken, borrowed or stolen, which will happen in a dorm, you're only out $40 bucks or so.

Bring a Gamecube or, as Christianscott suggests, a Dreamcast 8-)

I'd drop the $5.99 on a switchbox from Radio Shack. Then you can play both.

If those pesky books get in your way just get rid of them, no self-respecting teenager reads anyway.

Also it's a known fact that you will not get laid in college unless you have at least two gaming systems in your dorm. Just lookin' out for ya man.

Trust me on this: if you can only take one system, take the gamecube. Originally, when I went to college my first year, I had to choose between PSX and N64. I took PSX because it had more games I could play on it. First chance I got, I swapped it for my N64. I played a TON of multiplayer games at college, and it helped me make friends too.
