I just got done on the cover of a fanzine I plan on working on, but I'm just wondering, what makes YOU subscribe to a fanzine? Is it the contributors? the content? the design?
Also how much do you usualy pay for a fanzine?
The one I'm working on now I plan to do monthly if it is a success, its called "Reverie Gamer" and the first issues cover story is about games in the past few years that were highly overlooked and never played by many (ICO, Klonoa 2, Beyond Good & Evil, ect) and a good viarity of reviews like Golden Axe II, Final Fantasy XI, Heart of Darkness, and more.
I also plan on having monthly articles like The Question of the Month, Gaming Today, Featured Column, upcoming releases, and maybe previews.
It will probably be 10-15 pages each issue, and I will open up free website ads on one of the pages. I would love contributors from DP, and the design of the fanzine will be done neatly, using frames and borders, and pics and such.
Give me some feedback!
