Does anyone know how to change the internal battery? I got some new ones, threw em in, but it still doesn't work. Can it be in any old way, or do the + and - signs need to be in specific places?

thanks!

Im sure the battery has to be inserted with the correct polarity, but I dont remember which way that is.

It will only fit one way. (just tried myself)
BTW what do you mean by doesn't work? Doesn't keep saves?

Is the battery your using a CR2032? If so, make sure those batteries are fresh. Also they only fit one way, flat (+) side up.

yeah as long as the + side is up it doesnt matter which direction its facing, just pop it in, it should work - i know a few people though who broke the part that the battery sticks into, by yanking it out to fast

Well...if you LITERALLY threw them in...that won't work :P

Seriously tho....I believe the battery has to be facing down with the flat side facing up. And if they were on the shelf at the store a long time...might be dead. Also...it must be a CR2032 battery.

I carry fresh Saturn/Dreamcast batteris that I can guarantee will work (although your system could just be broken somehow as well)

It could just be your Saturn, too. I've got a Saturn that no amount of new CR2032 batteries can restore. I think that there's just a broken connection or burnt out part in there somewhere, and I haven't prepped it for surgery yet (since I've also got two working Saturns).

Isn't there a little reset button dealie in there? Maybe holding that for 30 seconds could resurrect the Saturns with memory/battery issues. Pull battery, hold reset, replace.

I'm not clear on it tho... I may have just made it up... or confused it with another console.
