Apparently this company created a emulator that allows a system to use software of another system without big performance hits. They used the Xbox 2 as an example. It would play the Xbox 1 games without any expensive hardware add-ons. PC games in Macs would be a reality too. If it is true maybe life will get a little bit easier for us gamers.

if it sticks to xbox 2 playing xbox 1 games and different types of comps using different comp games, i see no problem in that....but, i just dont see the appeal in playing nes games on an xbox for example.....if you want to play a game, dont emulate it, just get the original system

Well, for me, I ave the old systems and over and over a thousand games, but you get NES games playing in HDTV resolution, Dolby Digital sound with save states and the ease of playng them without blowing in cartridges, all while avoiding wear and tear on your classic games. Plus you can play handheld games like Lynx, NGPC, and Game Gear on a TV screen. And that's just the beginning. I don't know about you, but it sounds good to me.

Sounds fairly vaporious to me.

If it was really that easy to make a PowerPC act like an x86 chip or vice versa, it would have already been done.

That's a lot of claims they are making...Sounds too good to be true. I'll believe when I see.

Who wants to have 5000 game systems cluttering their theatre room. One to play them all!
