Metal Slug 1st and 2nd missions
Match of the Millennium (has some cool mini games in addition to be a heck of a portable fighter)
Card Fighter Clash (I don't normally like card fighting games but I really got into this one)
Neo Turf Masters

Their are alot of good pocket fighting games on this system. Match of the Millennium is the best but their is also
Gal Fighters
Samurai Showdon 2
King of Fighters R2

which are all good too. If you like puzzle games their are a couple of good ones two and of course a lot of casino games.

i dont have many NGPC games (still need both slug games)
But a suprising nice little game is Dark Arms. Samurai Showdown 2 is also great.

yeah those are all great games. cool that you got the system box it seems rare to see those these days. I mostly see it in that plastic packaging with like 6 games.

it really is too bad this system fell short.

I got my NGPC for BIN awhile ago w/ the system, 5 games mint w/ instructions, for like $35 shipped i think....

If you still have about 40 bucks or so, I suggest getting another NGPC. Not a regular NGPC, but a New NeoGeo Pocket Color, aka SlimLine. The SlimLine is much smaller and much cooler looking, with better sound, and 60 hours of battery life, instead of the 40 hours the NGPC has.

Not really, unless you're a stickler for complete games, in which case, yeah, those are a little tough to find. If you're just wanting to PLAY the games though, loose games are generally under $10 on eBay and such.

There are some truly out-of-this world games for this system in terms of price, but if you scour around a bit there's a ton of great play. Some of my personal faves are:

Cool Cool Jam
Cotton
Densha De Go! 2
Faselei! (I've seen the loose English version of this floating around on ebay prttey cheap)
Rockman Battle (boss fights from MegaMan)
Dynamite Slugger (GREAT baseball game)
Sonic Pocket Adventure
