Well it's finally done. Well kinda done. I don't have enough wood for any more shelves quite yet, but I'll get to it.

My boxes and genesis games.

Not much here. My DVDs, Saturn, GCN, and 1 PS game(Tekken)

NES, DC, PS, GBA, and Famicom games.

So what do you think? Cool or lame?

Incase anyone was wondering, this used to be one of those magazine racks that would spin around. The plastic things that held the magazines were busted up and it was just sitting outside of a store so my dad picked it up. Took off the plastic things and put some boards on it.

Not bad. I kind of like the look of it. Unfortunately, something like that wouldn't fit in my game room. Plenty of wall space, no floor space for an item that spins.

I like it a lot. I like the look of wood shelves.

Even though its somewhat tall it probably saves a lot of space since you can fill it with games on all four sides.

Great job

Wow. You made that? O_O How much does something like that cost to put together?

I think it was about $40 so far for wood. I shouldn't have to spend too much more for the rest of the shelves.

nice design, but like stated before, space in my room is limited, couldent find a spot for something like that.
Nice job though! :)

Very cool! I bet you could sell alot of those. I'd put a top on it though, so I could set stuff on top of it. So did you save your patterns for it? I bet you could sell the patterns too, if you could find a source for the rotation units.

That looks awesome! I'd rather have a spinning shelf then having to go through all of the separate shelves/drawers to find my games. :)

Just wanted to quote part of his post for people asking questions..

I was thinking about putting a top on it. I might put one on later.

And I didn't really have any patterns for it. I just had to put a board on every side and drill some holes in them for the shelves.

Yes, I didn't build the entire thing(that would be way too much work). Just had to add a few boards.
