Silent Hill has always been a favorite of mine. But when I upgraded to MAX2 from the original playstation DDR, WOW! They sure made that a lot harder didn't they?

Based on the DDR Extreme sound track sampler CD that I finally managed to find at Gamestop, I'm going to have to say that Your Rain Rage Mix kicks immense amounts of ass. Oh, and I play Love Shine too much.

My original favorite two were Drop the Bomb and Butterfly. Now that I dont suck, I like songs such as Cartoon Heros, Jet World, D2R, Dynamite Rave (the challenge one), Breakdown, the Candy songs, plus many others.

I used to love quite a few DDR songs. Then I got into actual Electronic Music, and the other Bemani games.

Now the only DDR songs I like are RE-VENGE/RevenG like Afronova and Tsugaru. The rest is either from other Bemani or Dancemania.

Imagine sequencing your own music that you've created and synchronizing that music to the DDR game. That's what I do. I'm always looking to improve things. The DDR music just doesn't do it for me. Everytime I hear the song "Butterfly", I think of all the times I got the *speed runs* from eating bad Chinese food. It's just too whiny for me. It sounds like she's being tortured or something. The whole track just sounds too commercial or mainstream. I feel that the track just doesn't have enough consistency. I'm used to underground, *building shaking* beats - not springy, bouncy, fruity Japanese noise. No offense intended. There's ONE remix of Butterfly that I like. It's a bootleg underground vinyl remix from Germany of which I own the original acetate. Now, I am going to remix the *German remix* of Butterfly just to satisfy my musical palate. My rant is over. (runs off to the studio)
