LOL

So we're ranked #83,521! YeeHa, success:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0970980701/qid=1033345293/sr=8-7/ref=sr_8_7/102-5643843-9923334?v=glance&n=507846

It's been kinda fun watching this. The amazon.com sales have been incredible but that's not so good for us here as we can make back our investment much quicker selling from the DP site. But I've been advised that this is good exposure so there you have it.

Today 83,521. Tomorrow... who knows? Maybe 78,448?!

Well, I wonder what item is #1?

I noticed in the reviews that customers can put in, you actually had some naysayer give you a mere 1-star review. The nerve! Perhaps we need some more positive reviews to counter that. I have never submitted anything though I've been a customer for several years so maybe I'll give it a try.

By the way, I got the latest DP yesterday...another great effort as usual.

I notice that this clown complained about the spelling but didn't bother to correct his own! I also wonder what makes him such an expert that he is able to say that "...plus some information that is just plain wrong" What a maroon!!!

i'm new to classic game collecting and i was really looking forward to this book. then i got it and read it. everyting but the intros are very boring and some of them are boring too. i also noticed a lot of spelling errors plus some information that is just plain wrong. i had hoped this would be a real guide to colecting but it seems like something a hobbyist threw together in his spare time. i did like seeing all the pictures boxes but i wouldnt recommend the book just for that.

Also, how can he say that information is wrong when he begins by saying he is "new to classic game collecting"?

I tried to call those negative vibe merchants out a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure they're just detractors or maybe competitors (or family of either). Listen, the book isn't perfect, I'm the first to admit that. But to give something like this ONE STAR, that's just ignorant. And furthermore it makes them look foolish in the process.

And you're right. Whenever I see someone criticize for spelling and while criticizing commit several spelling errors in the process I tend to ignore the comment entirely.
