Gold Zelda SP packaged with Minish Cap and a Red/Platinum one with Mario Vs. Donkey Kong.

I don't know if this is just slated for a European release or if the US will get it. I think it may just take some time, since we're getting the Tattoo SP also.

Ok, enough with the LE SPs, how about releasing some of those LE Cubes over here too?

Though I dont think this one is a limited edition, I've been really wanting it for quite some time... Too bad Japan gets all the cool stuff.

Don't have the money for it, but do you have a picture? I'd love to see one and can't seem to find one by googling.

Anyone else think the dual tones SP's like the red and silver, or black and silver, or kind of ugly? Maybe its just me... I like the Zelda one though. Not enough to buy it, but I like it.

As for Gamecubes, I haven't heard of anything, but then again nintendos never been known for making an extreme amount of limited edition consoles (excluding the Gameboy series of course, as it has the largest number of editions out of any system ten times over)

I may get the Zelda one if I can't find a Classic GBA SP

The Dual Tone SP are ok...but I've seen better ideas made by home brewed by doctoring up two other GBA SP (Blue and Red I've seen done)

Kinda ticks me off about the gold Zelda and Red Mario...while in the USA we are going to get this one in October.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v129/Akumajo22/GBASPWRU.jpg Kind of lame, since they are giving a "tattooed" SP, followed by another one sporting the "Who Are you" ads....No offense to Nintendo, but why are we getting crappy ideas and Europe is getting the simple and logically designs that we would love as well?

Wait a minute... when is the Minish Cap coming out?

Oh, and I really wish that Nintendo would at least release some color variations over here. That Who Are You? one looks nice to me, but not if it's just a standard black SP.

Spong, what a miserable website. You can't even right click and save images! Terrible.

BTW, I generally don't like the two-toned GBA SPs, but for Mario and Zelda, I'll make an exception.

I thought that Spong wasnt the highest calibur website when it comes to breaking information. I tend to read about alot of their "Breaking News" in the IGN Rumors page every week, and not all that much of it comes out to be true.

Doesn't Nintendo tend NOT to release new Limited Edition systems unless there is a new game to go with it as well (exception being the onyx/platnium GBA a few years ago)? Look at the NES GBAsp, came when the NES games were released. The Symphonia GC, with the release of Symphonia, Twin Snakes GC.

That's been true with the Gundam GameCube, ToS GC and all the other ones but I think that the Hanshin Tigers Edition doesn't have any sort of game. I don't think it's likely that Nintendo will release limited edition (okay, not Platinum) GCs here for some reason...but why...?

The Minish Cap will also be capable of using the GBA wireless adapter and it can also be connected to a GC (only with certain games)

Yes I am actually. PM sent.

I really like that gold zelda one. I don't get what you guys are complaining about... GBA's are region free. Just import it for like an extra $10 bucks. Yea its difficult but we have to get used to be screwed over by Nintendo, it's been happening for a while. ;)

Well the question I have, is the power supply issues, if it's Euro, it's gotta be charged 220V PAL. So you could use them, but is the power supply going kill it if I use a US 120V PSU?

If you have a PC with a USB port you can just buy a USB cable to charge the SP - that's what I do. It even saves having that ugly big wart of an adaptor take up another precious wall socket!

All SPs take the same internal power. So you can charge up a European one using an American charger. It's all in the charger... after all I have the GBA SP from Japan and can happily charge it using my SP charger from here :)

Yep, a Euro adapter would fry a GBA SP not played in applicable countries (well it wouldn't be able to fit into the socket anyway since their plug prongs are round). But like Pedro said, you can indeed use a USB adapter which is about $5.00 - $7.00 USD.

I'd much rather have This (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=47&products_id=2672&) one. Too bad I don't have $500 to blow.

And as has already been stated, Every Game Boy, regardless of where it is sold, is exactly the same. Japan, US, Europe, all the same units. Only the adapter is different.
