I don't know if this is the Dragonball Z: Super Butouden game or a different DBZ game asit's not any of the other 3 that's already on the list.

How about the 2nd titles? When should they be included?
When they're on the box, cartridge or on the game's title screen?

Ruudos

ANother point: the languages on the back of the box aren't always the same as the languages in the manual. For example many FAH-boxes have English and French on the back, but the manual is in French and Dutch.

2nd titles / subtitles:

i don't see any harm adding a 2nd title to the title if it's only in game but for the main title (and any prefixes) i'm always going with the box, what do others think about this?

languages:

i know, as you might have noticed i included info in very few games that have more/other languages in manual than on box, problem is verifying this stuff for games i don't own, i will add every info i get but if i only got a box pic and have no idea what the manual looks like i will of course only list it as if the manual was the same (because i don't know better)

Ruudos

Actually most of these FAH-games has English and French on the back of the box (on the front there's the message "bevat Nederlandse handleiding", and , many times on the back in small letters "contains French and Dutch instruction manual only".

Ms. Pac-Man PAL exists, WOW, you got a really really rare game there my friend as far as i can tell right now.... thx anyways LOL

James Pond II should be another game than those two, Starfish is known as Pond III :(

thx for Spawn

edit: can you please tell me what the product code of Spawn and Ms. is?? Spawn seems to be a spanish release, right?

I'm a few weeks late, but Pal Ms. Pac Man isn't rare in the UK, i'v seen alot of them in the last few years. (carboot sales, video game trade shops etc, etc)

Me! :(
You would think that more people in the UK would put more interest into these lists, it's a shame really.

Just a quick question, does Syvalion PAL exsist? I know it's on the list but I have scanned the net for weeks and not one PAL copy!

Yes they should exist, I would have tought the UK would put the most input into european releases, but I guess not. :(

Maybe someone should post a "Dead" auction on ebay.co.uk and ask for any serious snes collectors, if they know of, or are a member of DigitalPress..

( Then! ask them how come, they've never heard of this wonderous place before? and then ask the newly important question? when are they gunna join? ) :P

I'm sure there are alot that would join, and beef up the British contigent here at the almighty DigitalPress! ;)

tinsair
11-26-2004, 01:14 PM
Thanx Hydr0x, an Italian release no wonder I could'nt find it! :/

Oh also Hydr0x did you know that on your list you have FIFA '98 listed twice? One listed as FIFA '98 and the other FIFA Road to World Cup '98.
Or is this just listed as a name variation?

Damon Plus

Damon Plus yous say Whirlo was released, but for Hydrox to add it to his list he needs a picture of it.
Have you got a picture of it at all?

Iīm sure it was released, but I donīt have any proof to prove it :(

Shame, really need a picture to be sure. If you come across a pic before Hydr0x or anyone else finds a picture post it up. :)

i'm not sure about fifa yet, could be two different games, still on my "to check" list

i do of course need picture proof for both spanish releases, i'm 99% sure about whirlo myself though, i just haven't found a picture :(

anagrama
12-01-2004, 07:44 AM
I'm pretty sure that both those FIFA's will be the same game - all other versions (Mega Drive, GB, PSX, Saturn, N64) of FIFA '98 are also subtitled "The Road to the World Cup", and I would be extremely surprised if there was another version released just for the SNES.

Damon Plus
12-01-2004, 09:15 AM
Fifa 98: Road to the World Cup is the same version as Fifa 98

tinsair
12-01-2004, 01:29 PM
Yeah, I'm pretty much sure too that they only made one verion of FIFA '98. The only difference between FIFA '98 from one country to another is that it has a footballer representing that country on the front of the box, i.e: David Beckham - England.

YAY

someone did send me pictures of whirlo (cart, box, manual ...), fantastic pictures, one off the list ;)

Cool, it's gonna take ages to get the rest found on the list if they exist.
