When I was younger, I would ALWAYS rent this one Genesis game over and over (there was no place to buy it in town).
It was a space shooter... not top-down or side scrolling, but going "into" the screen, ie all the enemies were in front of you while you flew forward. In the beginning you could choose from 1 of maybe 5 planets to start at and then go through the other 4 in order.
You did most of your damage by locking your missiles on to targets (4 or 5 at once) and your actual shots you could set on automatic, but they hardly did any damage at all.
Any ideas what that is?
