Yup, The Hat is dead. Wore it to ECGE last weekend, and it got horribly crushed in my car upon my return. I've worn it to every CGE and every smaller 'con as well. In fact, people berate me when I *don't* have it with me, as it appears to be some kind of "Sniderman marker."

I shall be purchasing a replacement before next Expo, as I can't let this cheesy legend die. Please bow your head in silent remembrance.

I too am a hat-wearer, though I'm the more common kind, always with a baseball cap... but YOUR hat, THAT was a classic.

NOO!! that hat was the best, what will the world be without the snider-hat!?
you must find a replacement, the legend of the snider-hat must continue, and there must be a ceremonial handing down of the torch (or tims head) from one snider-hat to the other.

Oh my god... I can't believe I missed this thread... goddammit... I was lucky to behold the glory of the hat at EGCX 2004... and I'm glad I did.

Sorry for your loss, Tim. I know it's belated, but that hat was just so great! Shit... :(
