I'm not suggesting this person is insane, but has there ever been a light gun supported game for the Odyssey 2? Hell, where would one even plug in a light gun?
I'm asking on the off chance there actually WAS a light gun for the O2 and I just didn't know about it.

Whether or not there is a light gun, the voice module alone is worth more than the BIN.

when i was looking for odyssey 2 stuff to complete my collection i noticed this auction myself....i thought it was kinda funny since there is no light gun for the odyssey 2 and there is no place to plug it into the console

Isn't that gun for the Genesis?
Here's what I figure: the system is a detachable controller model. Since the connection on the detachable model is similar to a 2600, it would be similar to a Genny hookup also. So, this idiot puts 1 and 1 together and gets 4 or something to that extent...

There are some with black detachable controllers. I have one in a box marked "refurbished". I think they are pretty uncommon. The Odyssey 2 in the auction looks like it has attached controllers. I don't think the seller has any idea what they are doing. It says it works well but I bet they don't have an Odyssey 2 cart to test it.

How much was the bin? There's a guy selling a boxed Odyssey 2 with a boxed voice module at a flea market I frequent for $150, I of course passed as that's too rich for my blood.

I agree, I have a refurbed unit as well and it's the same as yours.

I ended up winning this auction. (I wanted it for the the Voice unit)
Well I got everything in the mail including the advertised light gun.
I'm not sure what exactly the gun is but it's definately not a Sega gun. The gun has a very LONG cord on it with a round 8 pin plug on the end. Nothing that would plug into the Odyssey 2 joystik port. Half way in the middle of the cord is a square black box with the name Philips on it. There's nothing else really on the box other than patent numbers and possibly a serial number. The gun itself also has the name Philips on it and says AirMouse technology on the handle.
I'll post pics of it later tonight if anyone wants.

wow, phillips but obviously not for the odyssey2. What else did Phillips do? Did they do 3do or cd-i? I'm glad someone around here got the good deal on the Voice. :)

Here's (http://home.comcast.net/~griking/gun.jpg) a picture of the gun if anyone's interested.
Anyone know what it was for?
