but the lost levels, that was released on super mario allstars, is that super mario bros 2 in japan?

Super Mario Bros. 2 (1988 USA)= Doki Doki Panic (1987 JPN)= then re-imported as Super Mario USA (1992 JPN)

Well, that's innaccurate. They aren't the same game....different characters, lots of subtle changes.

Well he's asking is Doki Doki Panic the original game that became Mario 2 (USA).

I know Doki Doki Panic is based on an Arab fairy tale, with the four characters being a family of four.

But breaking it down, DDP and SMB2 are pretty much the same when comparing gameplay (Except you can't run in DDP)

Yet they are completely different games, which I agree on with you.
