Just wondering.......I just sold an item to a buyer on ebay with 100% positive feedback. My question is: Why would he provide his full confirmed address but ask me to only use the PO Box for shipping??? I doubt there is anything underhanded happening here, just want to know why he would ask this. Just so you all know he has 98 rating, and 100% positive. He is in US, I am in Canada and it is a paypal transaction. So we are both covered.
Thanks.

in some neighborhoods(not the one i'm in) i would rather have a note and pick it up at the post office then leave it on a porch or something.
maybe they live in a apartment and have no real place to put it.
or like me i work right next to the post office that i goto every day. might as well send it there than to leave a note at my house and not get home in time to pick it up.

Yeah I have a friend who lives in an apartment ... all deliveries go to the main office, which closes before he gets home from work. He has everything delivered to a Post Office box.
Sometimes I am forced to use mine because my credit card billing address is my PO Box (something I started doing so when/if I move again I won't have to change anything). Problem is, for a verified PayPal address you have to use your CC billing address -- which for me, is the PO Box.
And yes, I'm screwed when sellers say, "I only ship to verified addresses. No Post Office Boxes."

In my case, my PO box, which used to be our primary mailing address, is now the address for my web site and anything related to it, and that includes game collecting, freebie review copies of CDs, and so on. And like Flack, I'm also in a situation where that's where my credit card billing goes, as well as the separate bank account for the site.
