VG Concert a Go for E3 [11/21/2002 2:59:11 PM ET]
Videogames Live at the Hollywood Bowl, a 2003 E3 Expo-ending event talked about previously here, is now officially on for May 16, 2003.
The event will take place on the last night of E3 at the Hollywood Bowl and will feature a 90-piece symphony and a 40-person choir. The concert is scheduled to run for two and a half hours and will feature 18 musical segments. The event will air live on pay-per-view, followed by a release of the concert on DVD and CD compilation.
Tommy Tallarico, executive producer of Mystical Stone Entertainment, the event's producer said, The video game industry has been craving an event like this and the initial response has been overwhelmingly supportive.
