it's been nigh impossible to find around here...just got it last night and it's awesome. the first time a 2D fight against the computer has really challenged me...i can't beat i-no on the last (or 2nd to last i'm assuming) stage to save my life. @_@
anyways, after trying to no avail, i hopped on the live mode to see if the reports of lag are true, and it's odd. the first match i played was unplayable (i had a HARD time just getting my cursor to go where it needed to on the character select screen). lost the match, went and found another challenger. same lag problems, but the seemed to improve greatly in the second and 3rd match, and by the 4th, it was pretty much unnoticeable.
anyone else playing this yet? :D

I got on early last Saturday before I played you at Burnout. I'd like to think I'm fundamentally solid, but man o man did I get my ass whupped. Lag was a problem during a couple of the matches, too. If you wanna play tomorrow evening, I'm all for it.
You need a headset that works, BTW. :P

yeah, i can hold my own at some 2D fighters like nobody's business in most cases, but GG is just...ridiculously deep. my girlfriend and i played for a couple rounds, and i thought i was getting the hang of it, went up against the computer, and got absolutely killed by the guy all in black that can make eels come out of the ground...then after about 5 continues, went up against i-no, got my ass handed to me about 10 times, then played on live...then went back to try and beat her again once i was starting to get a better feel for things.
nope.
sorry.
come again!
yeah, i need a new headset, but the part that plugs into the controller is the part that's messed up, and i HATE the MS headset, so now i'm faced with having to buy another MS one to get the controller interface, then some kind of in ear cell phone headset to plug into it. :o unless someone sells the controller dealy separate...
yeah, i can't wait for SF anniversary. i've really debated buying a SF2 cabinet lately, so this can't come out quick enough... ;)

I've got the game, but I'm not so good at it. I probably won't talk if I do play since I use an adapter so I can use the ps2 pad instead of the abysmal Xbox setup. Sadly, I bought it a day before Battlefront came out, so I know where my priorities are going to lie for the next few months...
Anyway, my gamertag is Kaiju Devil in the rare instance I get online w/ GGX2.
Also, I got your friend request Oobgarm!

Mana Approved. And needless to say I'll be using Bridget to wreck all y'all. Just toss me a friend request and I'll add you. Still, I'm waiting for SF anniversary edition as well. I got a Magic Box convertor so I can use a saturn pad on XBL. Mmmm... good D-pad

Hey, do you know how well the Agetec Dreamcast stick works with the Magic Box? I've got one coming in the mail just so I can play GG. I've heard that it works flawless with Saturn pads, but I hear it's a little screwy with DC controllers.

If Capcom hasn't learned from their first outing on Live, you'll be gravely disappointed.

CvS2 on live is miles better than GGXX#Reload. If both players have a good connection, you'll experience minimal to no lag. I have had countless amounts of flawless matches, and my connection isn't the greatest. On GG there is a constant delay.
So I doubt I'll be disappointed.

No clue, I'll test it with some of my regular DC controllers and let you know how it works. I know the analog stick won't work but that's moot with the agetec pad.
